New Delhi, September 23, 2020: The Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM), Davis Polk, Simpson Thacher advise on Reliance Retail sale of 1.28% equity stake for Rs. 5,550 crore to KKR. After Silver Lake, KKR is investing ₹5,550 crore into Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries for a 1.28% equity stake.

That the Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted for Reliance Retail and the team was led by Partners L Viswanathan, Nivedita Rao, Shishir Vayttaden and K Aishwarya.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas acted for KKR and the team included Partners Raghubir Menon, Natasha Shroff, Sakshi Mehra and Ekta Gupta.

Davis Polk & Wardwell acted as international counsel for Reliance Retail.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP acted as legal counsel to KKR and the team was led by Ian Ho.
